UC Price Comparison Calculator
The same amount of UC can cost noticeably different amounts depending on where you buy it and which pack you choose. Enter the rand prices you are actually being quoted and this works out the real cost per UC.
Why we don’t publish a price list. UC prices in South Africa move with the rand, with each store’s promotions, and with whatever event is running in-game. Any table we published would be wrong within a fortnight, and a stale price is worse than no price. So this tool takes the numbers you can see right now and does the maths you actually need.
Compare up to five options
Open each store, find the pack you want, and type in what it costs. Leave rows blank if you are only comparing two.
The bonus UC is where the value hides
PUBG Mobile’s packs are not priced proportionally, and the difference is larger than most players realise. The 60 UC pack gives you exactly 60 UC. The 6 000 UC pack gives you 8 100 — a 35% bonus on top. That means the biggest pack is roughly a third cheaper per UC than the smallest one, before any store discount is applied at all.
| You pay for | Bonus | You receive | Effective bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 UC | — | 60 UC | 0% |
| 300 UC | +25 | 325 UC | 8% |
| 600 UC | +60 | 660 UC | 10% |
| 1,500 UC | +300 | 1,800 UC | 20% |
| 3,000 UC | +850 | 3,850 UC | 28% |
| 6,000 UC | +2,100 | 8,100 UC | 35% |
The practical takeaway: if you are going to spend R500 over the next three months anyway, one larger top-up gets you meaningfully more UC than three small ones. If you are not certain you will spend it, buy the small pack — unspent UC is not a saving.
Where South Africans can legitimately buy UC
There are three categories, and the difference between them matters more than the price.
1. The in-game store
Buying through the Google Play or App Store billing built into the game. This is the safest option and usually the most expensive, because the platform takes its cut. It bills against whatever card or Google Play balance you already have, which makes it the easiest option if you do not want to enter card details anywhere new.
2. Midasbuy — the official top-up site
Midasbuy is Krafton and Tencent’s own top-up platform and has a South African storefront that prices in rands. You enter your PUBG Mobile player ID rather than logging in, and the UC lands in the account directly. Because it bypasses the app-store cut, it is normally cheaper than buying in-game, and it frequently runs its own promotions on top.
3. Licensed regional resellers
Legitimate retailers that are authorised to sell game top-ups, of which Carry1st is the notable South African one — a Cape Town company that sells PUBG Mobile UC in rands and supports local payment methods that overseas sites often reject. Others operating in the region include SEAGM and Codashop. These are real businesses, not the “cheap UC” sellers described below.
The category to avoid entirely. If someone on WhatsApp, Facebook Marketplace, Instagram or TikTok offers you UC at half price and asks for your account login, or asks you to pay by EFT to a personal account first, walk away. There are only two possibilities. Either they take your money and disappear, or — worse — they top up your account using stolen card details. When the chargeback comes through weeks later, Krafton reverses the UC and bans the account that received it. That is your account, and “I didn’t know” is not a defence that gets it back.
The full breakdown of how these scams work is in our guide to buying UC in South Africa.
Before you check out
- Confirm your player ID. Open PUBG Mobile, tap your profile, and copy the numeric ID exactly. UC sent to a wrong ID is gone — there is no recovery process.
- Check whether the price includes VAT. Some international sites quote excluding tax and add it at checkout, which can change which option is genuinely cheapest.
- Watch the currency. A site quoting in dollars will also cost you your bank’s international transaction fee, typically 2–3%. Factor that in before comparing against a rand price.
- Screenshot the confirmation. If UC does not arrive within about fifteen minutes, that screenshot is what support will ask for.
We don’t sell UC. PUBG.co.za is a guide site. We do not sell UC, accounts or top-ups, we never ask for your login, and no one representing this site will ever message you offering cheap currency. If someone does, they are not us.
