The default answer. Takes every attachment slot in the game, and with a compensator, vertical grip and tactical stock it becomes the flattest-shooting rifle available.

How damage actually works in PUBG Mobile

Every bullet starts with a base damage value, then two things happen to it before it touches the health bar. First it is multiplied by where it landed. Then, if that body part is covered by armour, the armour takes a percentage off.

The order matters, and it explains a result that surprises most players: a headshot on someone wearing a Level 3 helmet can do less damage than a torso shot on someone with no vest. The multiplier is applied first, and then 55% of a big number is still a big reduction.

Armour only protects what it covers

A helmet reduces head damage. A vest reduces torso damage. Neither does anything at all for arms and legs — which is why limb shots are so much more consistent than players expect against a fully-kitted enemy, even though the raw multiplier is lower.

Why time-to-kill is not the same as damage

The AKM hits harder than the M416 — 49 against 41 — and players reasonably conclude it kills faster. It usually does not. The M416 fires roughly 727 rounds per minute against the AKM’s 600, and when you need four or five bullets, the gaps between them add up faster than the extra damage saves you. That is what the “time to down” figure above is measuring.

One caveat worth stating plainly: this calculator assumes every shot lands. In a real fight the AKM’s recoil means fewer of them do, which is exactly why the tier list weights controllability so heavily.

Where these numbers come from. Krafton does not publish a stat sheet for PUBG MOBILE, so every damage value here is community-measured against patch 4.5. They are reliable for comparing weapons against each other. Treat the absolute figures as close approximations, and expect balance patches to move them.
