Best PUBG Mobile Sensitivity Settings (No-Recoil Setup Explained)
How camera, ADS and gyroscope sensitivity actually work, why copied codes rarely fit your phone, and how to tune your own in 20 minutes.
Search “best PUBG Mobile sensitivity” and you will find a hundred pages offering you a code to paste in, usually with the words “no recoil” attached. Paste one in and it will feel wrong. Paste in the next one and it will feel wrong differently. After a week of this most players conclude they are the problem.
They are not. The problem is that a sensitivity code is a set of numbers stripped of every piece of context that made those numbers correct — the screen they were built on, the number of fingers on that screen, and whether a gyroscope was doing half the work. This guide explains what each setting does so you can build your own, and gives you a repeatable test for checking whether it is right.

Why copied sensitivity codes don’t work
PUBG Mobile measures a swipe as a percentage of screen width, not as a physical distance. That single design decision is why codes do not transfer.
Imagine a setting where a full swipe across the screen turns you 180 degrees. On a 6.1-inch phone that is about 13 cm of glass. On a 6.9-inch phone it is closer to 15 cm. Same setting, same in-game result, but your thumb has to travel 15% further and 15% faster to achieve it. If you copied that number from someone with a smaller phone, every flick you make now falls short.
Then there is grip. A two-finger player aims with the same thumb that moves their character, so every aiming swipe is short and cramped — they need high values to turn far. A five-finger claw player has a dedicated index finger with the whole right side of the screen to work with, so they want low values for precision. These two players need sensitivity sets that differ by 30% or more, and virtually every code published online comes from the second group.
Finally, refresh rate. A 120 Hz display updates twice as often as a 60 Hz one, so the same swipe feels smoother and lands more precisely. Most creators are on flagship phones. Most players are not.
The three sensitivity settings, explained properly
PUBG Mobile gives you three separate sensitivity groups, and the single most common source of confusion is not knowing which one is doing what during a fight.
Camera sensitivity
This controls how fast the world turns when you swipe without aiming down sights. It is your “looking around” speed — checking behind you, tracking a sound, turning to face a compound. It should be high. If you find yourself needing two swipes to turn 180 degrees, it is too low, and that is costing you fights you never even saw start.
ADS sensitivity
This controls turning speed while you are scoped in. Critically, this is the setting that controls your recoil — when a gun kicks upward, you are pulling down against ADS sensitivity, not camera sensitivity. This is the number people are really adjusting when they chase a “no recoil” setup, and it is the one worth spending your tuning time on.
Gyroscope sensitivity
This controls how far your view moves when you physically tilt the phone. It works in addition to your finger, not instead of it — which is exactly why turning the gyroscope on without lowering your ADS sensitivity makes your aim worse rather than better. More on this below.
What each scope row actually controls
Each of the three groups is split into the same eight rows. Players tend to set the top rows carefully and then rush the rest, which is backwards — the long-range rows are where small errors become large misses.

Notice the pattern: as magnification goes up, sensitivity must come down. An 8× scope magnifies your movement as much as it magnifies the target, so a value that felt fine on a red dot will throw your crosshair across a hillside. If your 6× and 8× values are anywhere near your 2× value, that is your first fix.
The wall test: tuning your own in 20 minutes
This is the whole method. It is not complicated, and twenty focused minutes of it will do more for your aim than a month of swapping codes.
- Go to the training ground. Take an M416, a compensator, a vertical grip and a red dot. This combination is the most controllable common setup in the game, which makes it a clean baseline — if you cannot hold this on target, the problem is the setting, not the gun.
- Stand about 50 metres from a flat wall. Pick a mark on it — a bolt, a stain, a corner. You need a specific point, not a general area.
- Aim down sights and fire the full magazine at that point. Do not try to compensate yet. Just hold your finger still and let the gun do what it does.

Look at the pattern. Where the bullets went tells you what to change:
- Climbing steadily upward — normal. That is recoil, and it is what you are about to learn to pull against.
- Drifting hard left or right — that is the gun’s horizontal pattern, not your setting. Keep going.

Now fire again, pulling down to hold the mark. This is the real test.
- You pull down and the crosshair barely moves — ADS sensitivity is too low. Raise it by 5.
- You pull down and the crosshair shoots below the target, then you over-correct upward and oscillate — ADS sensitivity is too high. Lower it by 5.
- You can hold the mark with a steady, controlled downward drag for the whole magazine — that is correct. Stop.
- Repeat for each scope. Swap the red dot for a 3×, then a 4×, then a 6×, and run the same test at a sensible range for each. Yes, this is the boring part. It is also the part that everyone skips and then wonders why their 4× spray goes over the target’s head.
Change one thing at a time, in steps of 5. The most common tuning error is changing four rows at once, disliking the result, and reverting all of them — including the change that was actually an improvement. Move one row, test it, keep it or undo it, then move on.
Where the gyroscope fits in
The gyroscope reads your phone’s physical tilt and moves your view accordingly. Used well it is a genuine advantage, because it lets you control recoil with your wrists while your fingers stay free to move, shoot and heal.
Here is the part that trips people up. Gyroscope input is added to finger input. If you switch the gyro on and leave your ADS sensitivity where it was, you now have two systems both trying to correct the same recoil, and they will fight. Your crosshair will overshoot downward, you will correct upward, and you will oscillate around the target instead of sitting on it.
So when you turn the gyroscope on, drop your ADS sensitivity by roughly 30% and re-run the wall test. It will feel wrong for two or three days. Five mistakes that keep players stuck
1. Setting camera and ADS to the same value
They do different jobs. Camera sensitivity wants to be fast so you can look around; ADS wants to be slower so you can hold a crosshair steady under recoil. Setting them equal means one of them is always wrong.
2. Tuning only the red dot row
Close-range fights feel the most urgent, so that is where people spend their attention. But the fights you lose without understanding why are usually at 100–200 metres, where an untuned 4× row sends your spray over a shoulder.
3. Changing settings after every bad match
You will have bad games with correct settings. Adjusting after each one means you never build the muscle memory that makes any setting work. Give a change at least fifty matches before judging it.
4. Copying a code and “tweaking it slightly”
A code built for a different screen and grip is not a starting point that needs adjusting — it is the wrong shape entirely. You will spend longer bending it toward correct than you would have spent building your own.
5. Ignoring your frame rate
Sensitivity is inseparable from how smoothly the game runs. If your phone is dropping to 25 fps in a fight, no sensitivity value will feel consistent, because the game is not responding consistently. Questions people actually ask
Is there a real “no recoil” setting?
No. Recoil is a property of the weapon, and no combination of legitimate settings removes it. What good settings do is make recoil predictable, so that the same downward pull works every time. Anything advertising genuine zero recoil is either a mislabelled sensitivity code or a modified game file — and the second one gets accounts permanently banned.
Should I use the same settings for TPP and FPP?
No, and the game gives you separate rows for exactly this reason. First person has a narrower field of view, so the same swipe covers proportionally more of what you can see. Most players end up with FPP values slightly lower than their TPP values.
How long until new settings feel normal?
About a week of regular play for a moderate change, and two to three weeks if you are also switching your gyroscope habit. The discomfort in the first few days is not evidence the setting is wrong.
Does high ping change what sensitivity I should use?

The honest summary: there is no best sensitivity setting, and any page claiming to give you one is selling something. There is only a setting that fits your screen, your hands and your habits — and a twenty-minute test that tells you whether you have found it.
