PUBG.co.za

Privacy Policy

What we collect, what we don’t, and what our advertising partners do. Written to be readable rather than to be long.

The short version

  • We do not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information to use the site.
  • Our tools run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is never sent to us.
  • We use Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve advertising. You can opt out — see below.
  • If you email us or use the contact form, we keep that message so we can reply to it.
  • We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Who we are

This policy applies to the website PUBG.co.za, at https://pubg.co.za. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights described below, contact hello@pubg.co.za.

Information we collect

Information you give us

The only way you can give us personal information is by contacting us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list — we do not have one.

Information collected automatically

Like effectively every website, our server records standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you request, the time of the request, and the page that referred you. This is kept in server logs and used for security, diagnosing faults and understanding which pages are useful.

What our tools do not collect

Our sensitivity generator, weapon comparison, time-to-kill calculator and UC price calculator all run entirely in your browser. The screen size, grip style, weapon choices and prices you enter are never transmitted to our server, never stored, and never seen by us.

Cookies and advertising

Google AdSense

This site is funded partly by advertising served through Google AdSense. You should know the following, and Google requires that we tell you:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.

Opting out of personalised advertising does not remove ads — it means the ads you see are less tailored to you.

How Google handles data from sites that use its services is described in Google’s partner sites policy.

Cookies we set ourselves

We do not set our own tracking or analytics cookies. The tools on this site work without cookies entirely.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase. When you follow such a link, the destination site may record that you arrived from us, typically using its own cookie. That site’s privacy policy then governs what it collects. We never receive your payment details, card information or personal data from these purchases — only, at most, an anonymous record that a sale occurred. See our affiliate disclosure for the full picture.

How long we keep things

  • Contact messages: kept while a conversation is ongoing and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
  • Server logs: retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics, then rotated and deleted.

Your rights

Under South African law (POPIA)

The Protection of Personal Information Act gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@pubg.co.za. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Under the GDPR

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Our lawful basis for processing contact messages is legitimate interest — replying to a message you chose to send us. For advertising cookies, the basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the opt-out links above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Separately, and not as a legal matter: if you are under 18, PUBG MOBILE purchases involve real money that is probably not yours. Our UC guide is deliberately blunt about crate odds for this reason.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We do not store passwords, payment details or account credentials, because we never ask for them — and no legitimate PUBG-related service ever will. If anyone claiming to represent this site asks for your game password, it is a scam.

Links to other sites

We link to external sites, including Midasbuy, retailers and Google’s own pages. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change, and the “last updated” date at the top will change with it. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
