This list ranks weapons by how often they win real fights in ranked lobbies — not raw stats. Recoil control on a phone screen, ammo economy and attachment availability all count. The meta shifts with updates, so we re-check this page after every major patch.

DP-28LMGLazy-beam recoil and a 47-round mag. Unbeatable for suppressing and third-partying early game.

Mini 14DMRAlmost no recoil, huge mag, laser bullet velocity. The best "tap heads all game" rifle.
UMP45SMGSteadiest SMG spray. With a suppressor it is the quietest way to clear compounds.
Kar98kSniperThe classic. Free with any airdrop flare meta, and a headshot still ends arguments instantly.
M24SniperEverything the Kar98k does, slightly faster and harder-hitting.
SCAR-LARSoftest-shooting 5.56 AR. Slightly outclassed by the M416 but barely — take it and move on.

B Solid picks early game or when attachments are scarce. Swap up when you can.
